2. Description of Service

BoardWatch provides AI-generated summaries, topic tracking, and voting insights for K–12 school board meetings.

3. User Accounts & Content

• You may sign up for newsletters, alerts, and participate in comments or votes.
• You retain ownership of the content you submit, but grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it.
• You agree not to post unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or harmful content. We reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, code, logos, designs, and trademarks on the Service are © 2025 BoardWatch LLC. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

5. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” BOARDWATCH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT WILL BOARDWATCH BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Champaign County, Illinois.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the new “Effective Date” here and notify you via email or on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
